How do I apply Carezema?

Patch test first. Before regular use, apply a small amount to a small area of skin and wait 24 hours. This is standard advice for any new skincare product and it costs nothing to do.

Apply to clean, slightly damp skin. Straight after a bath or shower is ideal, while the skin still holds a little moisture.

Use a thin layer. Carezema is designed to be worked in lightly rather than piled on. A thin, even layer does more than a thick one.

One to three times a day suits most people. Many parents settle into morning and bedtime.

Consistency matters more than quantity. Daily use over weeks does more than occasional heavy use.

Carezema is a skin protectant cream that helps soothe and temporarily relieve the itch and irritation of eczema. It is not a medical treatment or a cure. If the skin is broken, weeping or possibly infected, or if you are already using a prescribed cream, speak to your pediatrician, GP or pharmacist before using it.
